Music & Arts and Gibson Present: Rock Road Show 2024

Summer is here at last, and it promises to be an especially thrilling season for guitarists and lovers of all things rock ’n’ roll. Music & Arts has partnered with Gibson guitars and D’Addario accessories to kick off Rock Road Show 2024—a new event series that will inspire musicians of all skill levels. 

At six events running June 22 through August 4, rock players and fans can connect with artists from Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hollywood Vampires, Bret Michaels Band, and other legendary acts.

The Rock Road Show will take place at flagship Music & Arts stores across the Eastern United States and feature exclusive artist clinics and incredible gear giveaways. Plus, every event is free and open to the public. So whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from industry legends, win top-notch gear, and level up your chops.

Meet the Artists

Rock Road Show 2024 will feature an impressive lineup of renowned musicians, including Buck Johnson, Dean Cramer, and Damon Johnson. Each artist’s appearance will consist of two parts. 

First, there will be a 90-minute clinic where they perform, teach instrument techniques, share songwriting tips, and tell stories from their illustrious careers. Next will be a 30-minute Q&A session where you can engage directly with the artist and gain further insights into their musical experiences.

Let’s take a closer look at these incredible artists. 

Buck Johnson

Buck Johnson is a vocalist and keyboardist for the iconic rockers Aerosmith and the supergroup Hollywood Vampires. He is a veteran performer and songwriter who has taken the stage or studio with artists such as Steven Tyler, Ringo Starr, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Carlos Santana, the Doobie Brothers, and Timothy B. Schmit (Eagles), among many others.

Dean Cramer

Dean Cramer is a guitarist and vocalist who performs with Poison frontman Bret Michaels. With over 40 years in music, Dean has played sold-out shows internationally and collaborated with renowned artists like Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Night Ranger, Jefferson Starship, Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe), Collective Soul, and Don Felder (Eagles).

Damon Johnson

Damon Johnson is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter who is currently playing with Southern rock titans Lynyrd Skynyrd. He is also the frontman of alt-hard-rockers Brother Cane. Johnson has toured internationally with Alice Cooper and co-written songs for artists such as Stevie Nicks, Carlos Santana, Steven Tyler, and Sammy Hagar.
